boards, he noticed a framed photograph of a large group of men and women in formal
Victorian attire. They looked like executives posing for an important event. However, what
had caught his eye was a painting next to the picture - it was an attractive woman; wearing
a pair of red stiletto heels, evoking him of the vivid scenes of that night.

It had been All hallows’ Eve, Justin and his friends were sitting around the campfire,
sharing spooky tales.

“So what do you have, John?” Justin asked.

“You want to know this one?” John smirked, “There was this legend about a woman called
Anna Johnson, who was killed in her house because she had not been able to pay off her
debt. What is more interesting is that she had on a red dress and a pair of red stiletto heels
when she died. Because of that, she got the name of the Lady in Red. And guess what?
There were many conspiracies that this legend is true.”

Right after Justin had settled his nervousness with the thought that this was not the time to
look back, a dark silhouette loomed above him.

Klik, Klok, Klik, Klok... sounds of the stiletto heels boomed across the hallway of the
vacant place.

Who could it be? Could it be the one and only… Lady in Red?

Sweat broke out from his eyebrows, and his eyes remained open for a long time without a wink,
glazed and almost sightless, as he realized that he needed to run for his life. Abruptly, there was
a high-pitched voice, which had appeared to have come from a little girl.

"Who are you?"

Justin turned his back and was surprised to see two children who had seemingly played
dress-up. One was wearing a large hat, while the other was attempting to wear a pair of
stiletto heels.

The children looked at Justin in confusion as they talked. They had been the children
living in the neighborhood. They were young and bold with no fears of danger. Justin
cautioned them about the paranormal activities that might occur, but they merely stared
at him and continued playing.
