6.14 Electromagnetic Induction/ Aruhan electromagnet

         Inference / Inferens:          The magnitude of (induced) current  depends on number of turns.
                                        Arus aruhan bergantung kepada bilangan lilitan gegelung
         Hypothesis / Hipotesis:        When number of turns increases, the (magnitude of induced) current
                                        increases
                                        Semakin bertambah bilangan lilitan gegelung, semakin bertambah arus
                                        aruhan.
         Aim / Tujuan eksperimen:       To investigate the relationship between  number of turns and (magnitude
                                        of induced) current
                                        Untuk mengkaji hubungan  antara bilangan lilitan gegelung dan arus
                                        aruhan.

         Pembolehubah:                  Responding / bergerak balas:  Current / arus aruhan, I
                                        Fixed/ Malar :  height of magnet/ ketinggian magnet
         Apparatus / Radas dan bahan: metre rule, ammeter, insulated copper wire, retort stand, cardboard tube
                                        Magnet bar, gegelung wayar kuprum bertebat, miliammeter, pembaris meter,
                                        wayar penyambung
         Arrangement of apparatus /
         Susunan radas:
















         Procedure / Prosedur :         •  The insulated copper wire is wound around a cardboard tube with
                                          number of turns, N = 20 turns.

                                        •  The height of a bar magnet from the above of top end of the solenoid,
                                                                                  H = 30.cm is measured
                                        •  The bar magnet is dropped into the solenoid.
                                        •  The reading of the ammeter (Current), I is  measured.
                                        •  The experiment is repeated with number of turns, N = 40 turns, 60 turns,
                                          80 turns and 100 turns.
