6.9 Resistance/ Rintangan
Inference / Inferens: The brightness of the bulb depends on the length of the wire.
Arus dipengaruhi oleh panjang dawai.
Hypothesis / Hipotesis: The longer the wire, the higher the resistance.
Semakin panjang dawai, semakin tinggi rintangan
Aim / Tujuan eksperimen: To investigate the relationship between the length of a wire and
the resistance

Apparatus / Radas dan bahan: Dry cells, constantan wire, connecting wires, ammeter, meter ruler,
voltmeter and switch.
Sel kering, dawai konstantand, dawai penyambung, ammeter,
voltmeter, pembaris meter, suis reostat

Susunan radas:
Procedure / Prosedur : • Measure the length of wire l= 30 cm.
• Turn on the switch and adjust the rheostat so that the ammeter
reading is I =0.5 A
• Take the reading of the voltmeter, V.
• Calculate the resistance R = V/I
• Repeat the experiment with l = 30 cm, 40 cm, 50 cm and 60
cm.
• Ukur panjang dawai l = 20 cm.
• Hidupkan suis dan laraskan rheostat sehingga bacaan
ammeter I = 0.5 A
• Ambil bacaan voltmeter, V.
• Hitung rintangan R = V/I
• Ulang eksperimen dengan panjang l = 40 cm, 60 cm, 80 cm and
100 cm.
