B-BBEE: SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
During 2017, Nimble provided training to 2 340 individuals through more than 9 500 individual training
interventions. We are proud of the fact that this training effort was substantially for the benefit of Black
employees. Furthermore, 77% of the training was directed at Black women - where we believe the greatest
positive societal impact can be achieved.
A range of development and training interventions takes place during the course of our employees’ careers
with Nimble.
Employee training & development is delivered by our dedicated Learning & Development Department.
Our 7 skilled & experienced learning facilitators work closely with new starters to prepare them for
successful careers with Nimble.
Ongoing refresher training ensures experienced staff remain up to date with the most recent regulatory
requirements while improving their soft skills.
LEARNERSHIP PROGRAM
Nimble recently launched its 2018 Learnership program with a view to on-board 30 learners, 10 of which
are previously unemployed. Nimble engaged Omni HR Consulting (Omni HRC) to conduct the program and
the Learners will work towards achieving a National Certificate in Contact Centre and Business Outsourcing
Support.
Once satisfied with the quality of the training offered by Omni HRC, Nimble will extend its Learnership
program to include a greater number of Learners and a broader range of content.
