               Abstract

If we can roughly predict the appearance of mixed dogs, we can prevent dogs with skeletal or physical
disabilities from being born, and it will be possible to develop new breeds suitable for contest dogs,
police dogs, and therapy dogs. First, the appearance of mixed dogs is very difficult to predict and there
are few precedents, so it is impossible for humans to predict completely. We used a morphing program
to predict the appearance of these mixed dogs. The morphing program we used was borrowed from the
internet and is freely available. We also used two pictures of each dog’s front and side of face to make
the predictions more accurate. We found that if the breed’s fur color is quite different, the prediction
will be incorrect. If we can find a solution to that, we hope to create mixed breed dogs that will be
               healthy.
