Abstract
Nowadays, there are many facilities that help the visually impaired. For example, a white cane, which
is a necessary device for the visually impaired at the moment, is used to explore obstacles or different
levels of disability from Disability Support Services of Chiang Rai Rajabhat University. It was found
that visually impaired people often have accidents by collisions with obstacles at chest level, such as
hitting a sign protruding from the pole. The device operates using a laser TOF sensor (GY-VL53L0X
GY-530) will be used to examine and find barriers in the distance in range 1 meters, the alarm signal is
detected through the headphones to inform the visually impaired that there is a barrier at the level above
the front chest, which could reduce accidents with the visually impaired.
