                    Wireless warning system to alert for second disasters of earthquake

               Abstract
               An earthquake is one of serious natural disasters in the world. In Japan, we  encountered such
               disasters so many times. 4 years ago, we had 2 very huge earthquakes in Kumamoto. At that time,
               many people realized that our lives were fleeting. Then, especially, we thought we really didn’t know
               which action we should have taken. I and Junya became interested in earthquake because of our
               experience of Kumamoto earthquake and we searched about previous earthquakes which happened in
               Japan. We found that earthquakes may cause some secondary disasters such as tsunami, fire and
               landslide depending on timing and environment which the earthquake occurs. We need to make a
               correct judgement because we cannot estimate when and where they happen. Fire occurs frequently in
               our life, so we focus on it this time. In 1995, a huge earthquake happened in Hyogo. It was very
               famous as the earthquake which caused a secondary disaster by a fire. People were very confused, and
               they couldn’t pay attention to electrical appliances right after the earthquake. In this project, we think
               about the problems of secondary disasters and try to solve them by using a notification, pictures and
               videos. We use 2 Raspberry Pi and we visualize the situations of inside and outside the house in real
               time. We synchronize the Raspberry Pi with another one and we use an accelerometer to get the value
               of Shindo. Then, we can confirm the situation through videos which are taken by a Pi
               camera. Furthermore, we can provide more information to people by using a temperature sensor. By
               implementing our ideas, we will be able to get many advantages. For example, we can know how
               scary it is, analyze how things fall in the room and what people do when earthquake happens through
               photos and videos. Also, we can utilize the information for the next research.
