Vor allem in der Kriegs­ und Nachkriegszeit
wurden ausgediente Wagenkästen auf gemau­
erten Sockeln als elektromechanisches Stell­
werk genutzt. Die angebaute Kanzel diente
zur Sichtverbesserung. Stellpult und Ofen zur
Inneneinrichtung liegen bei. Die Treppe ist in
Gemischtbauweise aus Kunststoff und stabilem
Karton in Lasercut­Technologie gefertigt. Bitte

Vordach, Außenlampe, Scheinwerfer und die
Darstellung der Hebelbank machen das Modell
interessant. Stilistisch sehr gut zu Bahnhof Klin­
genberg­Colmnitz Art. 13 220 und Bahnsteig
Art. 13 221 passend.

Built about 1900. Iron stairs, overhanging roof,
exterior lamps, spotlights, roof facings and the
interior machinery. Stylistically, the structure
is an ideal companion piece to Klingenberg-
Colmnitz station No. 13 220 and Platform
No. 13 221.

Das Vorbild stand in Saalfeld. 1931 erbaut und
1944 Bomben zum Opfer gefallen. Das stufen­
förmige Treppenhaus macht den Zweckbau sehr
attraktiv. Die Stahlkonstruktion überspannt 2
Gleise. Oberleitungsbetrieb ist bei Absenkung
der Fahrdrähte möglich. Eignung für Gleissys­
teme auf Seite 243.

Originalmodell
Design based on the prototype in Saalfeld, built
in 1931, destroyed by bombing in 1944. The
stepped stairway makes for a most attractive
purpose-built steel structure spanning 2 tracks.
Catenary operation is possible by lowering the

Erfurt signal box
Einst zierte dieses in Klinkerbauweise errichte­
te Stellwerk das Gelände des Hauptbahnhofes
Erfurt. Mit sehr interessanter Dachkonstruktion
und Erker. Darin ist das Treppenhaus unterge­
bracht.

A clinker brick signal box from Erfurt’s Central
Station. The building is narrow enough to fit
between two tracks. The roof and bay window
design are of particular interest.
