               Dr. Kara Melissa T. Torres was invited to guest at the TV show GMA 7’s Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho last September 1, 2019
               to talk about tattoo removal. Dr. Torres discussed on the different modalities in removing tattoo ink particles in the
               dermis but primarily focused on laser utilization. She also emphasized the danger of “do-it-yourself” home remedies
               that some patients resort to; various modalities which could potentially lead to severe complications ranging from
               scarring to sepsis and death. This discussion highlighted the importance of seeking professional consultation with a
               PDS board-certified dermatologist.

               More than a month later on October 24, 2019, in celebration of World Psoriasis day, Dr. Kara Melissa T. Torres,
               alongside  Mr. Joseph  De Guzman,  president  of  PsorPhil,  appeared  on  TV  5’s  Clinica  Flavier.  With  a  main  goal  of
               increasing public awareness on psoriasis, they discussed various triggers, as well as therapeutic and non-therapeutic
               options for the disease. They invited the audience to join the annual Psoriasis Walk, the largest gathering of patients
               and dermatologists for psoriasis in the country, held on Sunday, October 27, at the San Andres Sports Complex, Manila.
