One of my mottos in life is: “Courage is the
ability to take a leap outside your familiar
comfort zone.”
5. How do you manage your work-life
balance? (being a married woman)
Living in a positive environment with my family.
My father is a motivational speaker. My mother
is my Production Manager and she is of great
help. I really trust her in managing my
business. This helps me to have a proper work-
life balance.
I also have the chance to have a great husband
who is very supportive in everything I do.
Finding one‟s own space as an individual is
also primordial in my opinion. I am part of a
music Band in Quatre-Bornes, and also sign in
parties sometimes. I also do sports 3 times a
week.
6. Do you believe the youths of today
are socially active enough, or could
more be done in this area?
No. They are more technologically-active and
less socially active. For instance, I use
Whatsapp only as a marketing tool, and have a
Business Page.

But we cannot generalise the fact young people
are more interested in technology than working
for society, and JCI is the perfect example.
7. What measures, according to you,
could be taken to empower women
further by the JCI Community?
I have met a few strong-willed women within
the JCI community.
Not all of us are outgoing.
I would recommend having two or three-day
sessions with high school girls, where they
would have the opportunity to be pampered,
coached and to listen to motivational talks.
8. Finally, do you have a message to all
the young women leaders in JCI out
there?
- Only this: “If you can dream it, you can do
it.”
