Joining an organization whose vision would
.
match my own personal values was
something I had never anticipated. It did

however happen when I first read the JCI
creed. There was instant chemistry.

Although I had previously heard about the

organization from the media, I had the chance
to learn more about it first-hand from my
neighbour, Shrishti Boodaloo, 2015 Local
Treasurer and 2016 Local Secetary who has

been an active member of JCI Beau-Bassin/
Rose-Hill for the past 4 years now.

What pushed me to join? Simple- Sharing the
same vision as JCI as mentioned above, and

aiming towards a common goal, which is the
betterment of society through selfless

service.

I had reached that crucial point in my life
when I realized that I would be happy only if I

started to do social work. No job in the world
could have given me that sense of fulfillment.
Here, I must admit that JCI offers young
people an excellent platform not only to serve

others through sustainable projects but also
to enjoy every part of it.

Looking forward to being an official member
of the big JCI family soon!
