                                                   EN33103 Intensive English
               Mattayom 6  Semester 1                                                  40 hours 1.0 credit

                   This course has the following basic structure, although with occasional minor variations depending on the flow of an individual unit:
                             Organize information systematically and logically.

                             Write to present data about themselves/experiences/news/incidents, matters and various issues of interest.
                             Write to describe their own feelings and express opinions about various matters, activities, experiences and
                news/incidents as well as provide justifications, proper reasoning, and examples for illustration.

                             Write various types of sentence structures correctly.
                             Possess positive attitude toward English writing and English learning.

                             Express opinions and subordinating reasoning.
                             Verbally communicating difficulty, emotions and though process.

                             Utilize technology skills for educational purposes.
                       Study the writing process with vocabulary, opinion and facts, current events along with various types of cultural and
               environmental situations. Grammar clauses to extenuate or a play on words.  Reading comprehension with clause identification,
               paragraph unity, transition signals, and various sentence structures. English grammar with storytelling and reading comprehension.
               With essay assignments for topic reinforcement of understanding.

                       Discussions of current events and globalization topics initiated to create relevant curriculum for today. Core concepts will be
               taught through individual work using technology for internet practice; tablet, computer, worksheets. An e-book was distributed for less
               paper use for home study. In class participation group activities through online research and presentations. Online learning classroom
               participates through individual assignments uploaded on classroom site. Movies and videos will occasionally be shown to enhance

               English comprehension. And topic understanding for group discussions and self-expression in English.
                       All the above will fulfill the key performance indicators, as per the Ministry of Education for Thailand, listed in the chart below.
                       In order to promote positive attitude towards learning English and build up desirable characteristics and learners’ key
               competencies.
