WHY ARE YOU A I have been dealing with design thinking and the research in this
DESIGN THINKING area for decades. This includes global team dynamics, interaction

In the ME310 program, I was able to observe the cultural differ-

conclusions from it for teaching and research at Stanford.

YOUR MOST IMPORTANT Steve Jobs said it in a nutshell: “Think different!” The correct
DESIGN THINKING TIP? phrase, of course, would be, “Think differently!” With this, he had SHOW AND VISUALIZE
expressed the essence of design thinking: Don’t necessarily do
what is expected and what’s understood as being the right thing.
The design of human–robot interactions will gain in importance in
the future. The emotional component must be emphasized more
                                      when defining the design criteria.
