REFLECTIONS OF The course of 2020 hasn't been a traditional one.

However, if we look back at 2020, Anglian have
certainly been on a journey this year. Anglian
Today asked individuals from around the sales
community to reflect on the year that's been.
Everyone whether new, or experienced, has thrown themselves in to the
‘new normal’ and adapted so quickly to all the changes that we have
found ourselves dealing with on a day to day basis.

To reflect on the year, it could be difficult to do so with a sense of achievement. Everyone knows that
this has been a tough year for the world because there is nothing in everyone’s past to compare it with,
the disruption, upheaval, levels of anxiety. When we break it down many individuals in many different
industries have gone through a lot of change. In that change, it has presented an opportunity to learn
and develop our skills, ie online selling which has contributed to 10’s of millions of pounds to the
Anglian business in the last few months.
Sometimes it easy to say let’s put this behind us, however we can, and we will. Let us make a stand in
our new learnings. I think we are fortunate to be in a growth market because it is home improvements.
A company that continues to invest in the marketing, its people, incentives when very few other
companies did. As individuals grow the company grows enhancing the business.
So, all indications point to a very positive 2021, consumer confidence in our industry will be high, and
early indications show that our industry will grow.
I believe that we will have one of the most successful years in the company’s history, added to that the
new skills and great attitude of all those who work for Anglian.
With everything the company has to offer, I think everyone involved with Anglian will have a prosperous
New Year
