                                                                                                   1.    Engage  – Pupils listen to a radio interview about greenhouse effect is a naturally process that
                                                                                                         help keeps the earth warm. (15 minutes)

                                                                                                   2.    Explore – Pupils sit in a group of 4 and discuss on the topic given on the greenhouse effect and
                                                                                                         the effect humans have on it. Monitor and help with vocabulary. Pupils list down their opinions in
                                                                                                         the Greenhouse Effect Handout. (15 minutes)

                                                                                                   3.    Explain  – Review the answers to the handout Greenhouse Effect by recreating the diagrams on
                                                                                                         the whiteboard. Ask each group to present it and make clarify any misconceptions that pupils
                                                                                                         may have. (20 minutes)
                                                                                                   4.    Elaborate  – Global climate change is often discussed as a steady rise in global temperature.
                                                                                                         However, the rise will not be steady. In fact it will dramatically increase as the temperature
                                                                                                         climbs. Show a video to the class and ask pupils :

                                                                                                        1. Describe how the greenhouse effect is a positive feedback loop.
                                                                                                        2. Write a poem about it and share to the class. (30 minutes)
                                                                                                      5.   Evaluation  –

                                                                                                          i. Poem recitation
                                                                                                          ii. Greenhouse handout (10 minutes)
