Geographic Location of the Region
Location, Extension and Boundaries
The “Laredos Region” is located between 27 ° 29 ‘48 “ north latitude and 99 ° 30’ 01” west longitude.
The heights in the region goes from100 meters above sea level (masl) at the southeast on the right bank of the Rio Grande to 250
masl above sea level in the west.
It records 110 masl on the river bank and approximately 70% of the region is located between 120 and 130 meters above sea level,
being 150 masl the maximum height.
The primary communication road of “Los Dos Laredos“ is the National Highway 85 / Interstate Highway 35 that links the region
with the main commercial destinations of Mexico and U.S.A.
