    Science is Elementary (SiE) will present a template for

    science instruction designed with equity in mind. SiE
    lessons are designed for all learners, including those
    learning English or from untapped communities. Lessons
    include scaffolding of concepts and language, as well as  EDVANCE WORKSHOP

                                                              EDvance is a teacher preparation program that recruits,
                                                              supports and graduates future leaders in early childhood
                                                              education. This program provides students with the
                                                              opportunity for: guaranteed enrollment into pathway
                                                              courses, academic counseling and educational planning,
                                                              fiscal incentives and stipends, etc. In this workshop, we
                                                              will introduce you to the PATH (degree attainment) and
                                                              SF SEED (fiscal incentives) programs. We will also discuss
                                                              about the eligibility requirements and answer any
                                                              questions as needed.
