Lake Plan Update- Carol Coupland
Carol presented the finished Lake Plan document to the meeting. Carol noted that the picture on the cover was
submitted by Nicole Porteous.
SLPOA LAKE PLAN was originally to be a 3-4 year project dependent on the number of volunteers throughout
the process. It was completed in 2 years as a result of volunteer’s dedication and commitment to the project
Updated Survey Results
566 HOUSEHOLDS WERE CONTACTED TO COMPLETE SURVEYS
306 emails sent to membership (current and past members)
260 mailings to residents not on membership list (s)
150 Completed Surveys received (27% response) and included in report.
Funding
County of Frontenac
Funding request drafted by E. Stillwell, V.P.; Final document by C. Coupland President
Letters of Support received from Mayor, Central Frontenac and W.A Robinson Asset Management (M.
Giroux)
Anne Marie Young presented recommendation to County of Frontenac to support our Lake Plan funding
request
County approved maximum funding to be allocated to SLPOA for Lake Plan production costs
W.A. Robinson Asset Management & LDR each provided funding to offset MPAC survey costs
SLPOA membership fee increase and member donation helped to cover costs
Interim funding provided by Kevin Browne and TRICO Evolution on print production
