Open to violinists, violists, cellists, and double bass students. Experience the excitement of
playing chamber music with other talented young musicians. Improve technique and performance
skills in this fun, collaborative camp for strings. Students have the opportunity to compose,
improvise, expand their music theory knowledge, work with a percussionist, and experiment
with fiddling and other styles, as well as visit a local violin maker. Camp includes a special guest
artist performance. Completion of Suzuki Book One or higher is required and there will be a
placement audition on July 6, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. This camp takes place at 570 Central Avenue
in New Providence.
