Jam Band Camp Ages 8-15

Geared for the student who wants to form his or her own ensemble, this camp focuses on the
tools needed to reach that goal. Improvisation, music theory, music history, transcription and
songwriting, recording techniques, and how to run rehearsals and jam sessions will all be covered
in this one-week camp. Campers will get to put this into action in rehearsals, jam sessions,
and recording sessions. A minimum of six months playing experience is recommended for
participation in this camp. This camp takes place at 570 Central Avenue in New Providence.
