1. A client has multiple pets but only 1 has had services rendered at
LVH. When entered, the other pets were assigned due dates by AVImark,
but we do not have records. Suspend the reminders for these pets by going
to that pet’s file, and entering “H” in “code” section of the file. The Client
will still get our communications for the 1 pet that we have rendered
services for.
2. Client’s pet ONLY grooms OR ONLY boards at LVH and the client has
requested that we do not send them reminders for their preventative
vaccines or well care. Suspend the pet’s reminders.
First search for ALL clients that have been inactivated since last quarter:
We need to do this BEFORE inactivating clients because we often have staff that
“inactivates” a client just because they have not been to us in a year, need
vaccine reminders postponed for a short time, etc. These are NOT reasons to
inactivate clients. As a result these clients receive NO COMMUNICATION from
us….and their pets don’t get the care that is needed.
1. In AVimark click…….(this procedure still needs to be developed with these
steps).
2. The steps will be searching for clients and pets that have gotten the “I” code
in AVImark in the previous 3 months.
3. Then we have to go through that list one client at a time to see that the
inactivation was accurate. If not, we have to remove the “I” code and make
the active again.
