DEADLIEST

                  AUSTRALIAN FIRESTORM

            INFERNO
At the peak of the fire, flames
            were leaping 330 ft (100 m)
into the air. The heat was so
            intense that trees burst into
            flames before the fire reached
            them. The fire service was
            overwhelmed by the inferno.
