open (subject to government regulations). The
inability to hold events in London has in fact
opened up new opportunities and lectures are
now zoomed out to a far greater audience
worldwide. Members in Sydney and Bahrain
                                 have enjoyed them.

The majority of members cruise overseas and
mainly in Europe though a large number are
based in the British Isles. The CA is widely
respected by the yachting press and various
government bodies and is in a very powerful position to campaign and
lobby on behalf of cruisers. At the time of writing the impact of Brexit is
foremost but red diesel and unmarked fishing gear are still active topics.
More details about the Association can be found on the CA website.

                                         Fact

More than 4,000 people have climbed Everest; over 500
people have been into space. However, less than 100
people have raced solo, unassisted, around the world.
