               Line art and Colour




             10.1 Introduction to art

             Fine art is creating son1ething that expresses a person emotions
             through in1ages  or  sounds.  "Art"  refers  to  creative things that
             individuals rnake, such as paintings, sculptures, niusic, performing
             art, and architecture. Art is  a way to show en1otions, thoughts,

             and feelings  through  different art forrns.  Various n1ethods  are
             utilized to convey en1otions. If a person uses terrns such as stories,
             poems,  and essays to  share their sentin1ents,  it is  considered
            literature.  When someone expresses their feelings  by singing,
             playing music, dancing, or acting, it is known as performing art.
             When son1eone creates shapes, forn1s, and dirnensions and adds
             colors to a surface to express their in1agination, it is known as

             either sculpture or painting. Architecture is also considered  as
            fine art.

            During the Stone Age,  people thought that art was niagic and
            the people who n1ade it were magicians. The Egyptians, on the
            other hand, used art to make their lives after death glorious. The
