2. In the second step, try to touch the ground with the palms while
moving the ankle further behind the head. Do this exercise for
a short time as it will be difficult at first. When you get used to
it, try increasing the tilne.
3. In the third step, while bringing the ankles to the ground, follow
the exact reverse of the previous one and come to the starting
position.
Yogasana in which the body is shaped like a plow is called Halasana.
Do not push the body while doing Halasana. Sarvangasana can also
be practised before practicing this asana. Halasana helps to reduce
fatigue and stress, strengthens neck, shoulder and spine muscles. It
improves the flexibility of the ankle. Its practice also helps people
suffering from diseases like diabetes, heart disease and constipation.
