                   Classroom Behavior:
It is our expectation that each of you will be respectful to your fellow classmates and
instructors at all times. In an effort to create a professional atmosphere within the
classroom, it is requested that you:

 Arrive to class on time
 Place your cell phone on silent
 Limit use of your cell phone for personal use while in class
 Refrain from having disruptive conversations during class
 Remain for the whole class, or if you must leave early do so without disrupting
                          others
 Display professional courtesy and respect in all interactions related to this class
 The topics we will discuss in this class are heavy. Most of the content in this
class is of sensitive nature and viewed as controversial. Come to class with an
open, objective and neutral mindset as is expected of any employee working
directly with incarcerated populations and those clients on community
                          supervision
 Professional courtesy and sensitivity are especially important with respect to
individuals and topics dealing with differences of race, color, culture, religion,
creed, politics, veteran’s status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity and
gender expression, age, disability, and nationalities.
