Academic Integrity
Integrity is an essential component of the student academic experience. Chaffey College
does not tolerate academic dishonesty. Please refer to the Chaffey College Course
Catalog for all policies. In this class, Cheating, Plagiarism, Fabrication, Retaliation,
Unauthorized Collaboration will result in you failing the assignment (0 points in that
assignment!) Or in certain circumstances, removal of the course. For more
information, please see your student handbook or call the Office of the Dean of Student
Services (909) 652-6506.
This means that you should not:
1. Cheat
2. Plagiarize, that is, use another person’s words or ideas as your own without proper
documentation.
3. Collaborate with others unless specifically requested in an assignment or discussion.
4. Let another student login to your CANVAS account.

Writing Center, Success Centers and the Transfer Center
Use of the Writing Centers, Learning Centers and Success Centers is strongly
recommended to assist students in achieving the highest possible grades in the courses
taken. There are several locations throughout the 3 CCCD campuses, with a major core
of these centers located on the Main campus. The Transfer Center is located on the
Main campus. It is imperative that students receive guidance from the Transfer Center
as well as the Guidance/Counseling Center to ensure continuity in guidance,
prerequisites, accreditation, academic programs, transferable units and contemporary
changes in the policies of various colleges and universities. This applies regardless of
whether a student completes an Associate’s Degree, Certificate program or is desirous
