• Destroyed by adenosine deaminase
• Uses:

drug of choice for treatment of sustained supraventricular tachycardia (SVT).

Ad effects  Minimal due to clearance

Bradycardia, dyspnea (severe bronchoconstriction); facial flushing (due to V.D).
