A. First allow me to state that there is a ladder of
evolving experience in the divine system, and therefore
teachers of every kind are necessary at each level. even in
the animal kingdom, there is always some dominant figure
that leads the herd, and similarly, there are always more
complex and evolved plants, like the sequoias. likewise,
there are always human beings who are more complex and
evolved than others, and this is why you will never hear a
saint demean another path or teacher. The Masters are
required to describe the differences that exist, they are
responsible for drawing distinctions between relative truth
and absolute truth, and yet they will always say, “please
understand it is a perfect system and nothing needs fixing.”
so there are teachers at all levels, and all of them are
to be respected. They all have their place simply because
souls are experiencing life at all of the multifaceted levels
within the lord’s creation. The majority of human beings
have their hands full with just living in this materialistic
world, making a living, and dealing with their passions and
day-to-day events. Then comes the long and often arduous
evolution through the light, and many teachers are encoun-
tered along the way to help the soul unfold through these
preparatory levels. When the student’s readiness is ma-
ture, it is then, and only then, that one is truly prepared to
hear and resonate with the message of the true Master, or
sat guru.
The following two points are the simple distinctions
that separate a sat guru from a light guru: First, a sat guru
is appointed or commissioned to serve by the highest lord,
and second, he is fully able and qualified to initiate souls
into the sound Current. Many teachers can help you rela-
tively, for everything has value. however, sat gurus are di-
vinely appointed by the highest lord, while light gurus are
self-appointed or commissioned by lesser deities situated
