lord god, to begin a new line of living Masters. But even
in a case such as this, the param saint will still seek out
initiation from a light and sound teacher and complete the
            basic course of instruction.
In the terminology of light and sound doctrine, a sat
guru is one who can escort the soul of the disciple into the
fifth spiritual region, known as the soul plane, whereas a
light guru can only assist in evolving the mind through the
lower planes of duality. a sat guru is given the divine au-
thority to initiate the soul, while a light guru is restricted to
initiations within the three divisions of the mind, which are
the conscious, subconscious, and unconscious minds. These
three minds are situated within every human being and
distinctly operate within the confines of duality, moralism,
and the karmic web of illusion and maya (delusion). a true
and bona fide sat guru can arouse the latent sound Current
lying dormant within the seeker, whereas a light guru can
only manipulate the various intellectual and psychic cen-
ters of light, which correspond to the lower dimensions
within the physical or psychic bodies. a sat guru has the
power to deliver the soul into self and god realization,
while a light guru is more concerned with the relative levels
of enlightenment and cosmic consciousness, both of which
exist within the parameters of the intellectual senses.
a sat guru reveals and awakens the higher conscious-
ness and restores the spiritual identity of each disciple; he
escorts the soul from the tomb of the body consciousness
and protects and nurtures it along the way, ultimately deliv-
ering the soul back to its original homeland. The sat guru
deftly shoulders the karmas of his students and protects
them from the numerous pitfalls and endless snares attempt-
ing to detour them. he is a constant friend and an engaging
companion, remaining with the traveling soul in all matters,
spiritual and otherwise. not even death can separate the
