has five senses and is subject to the physical laws of the uni-
verse, including birth and death; houses the four more subtle
bodies (astral, causal, mental, and soul).

PHYSICAL CONSCIOUSNESS – see: BODY CONSCIOUSNESS.

PHYSICAL PLANE – lowest plane in the macrocosm, wherein
soul is encumbered by mental, emotional, and physical senses
within the physical body.

PHYSICAL SENSES – The body senses that allow soul to gather
experiences on the physical plane in the body consciousness.

PINDA PLANE – see: PHYSICAL PLANE.

PRANA – vital force; manifestations of the motor currents;
sourced in the astral plane.

PRAYER – one of the four primary methods of petitioning the
Divine (prayer, meditation, contemplation, soul transport);
requesting the divine assistance of the unconscious mind to
resolve a subconscious problem that the conscious mind can-
not transcend due to its limited reason.

PROVISIONAL FAITH – Faith that is flexible and alive, in contrast
to blind faith; willingness to act on one’s own spiritual behalf
by investigating the Master and His Teachings, being aware
of one’s yearning for truth and fear of exploitation, honestly
assessing one’s changes in consciousness, and taking another
step in the process; acting to know.

PSEUDO GURU – Master of light; one who channels the univer-
sal mind power; promotes the light of relative truth for souls who
are developing through mechanical evolution; a teacher who
has not yet realized soul or the sound; self-appointed guru.
