SAT GURU AS THE INNER MASTER – The true Guru is the sound
Current, or the melodious and eternal voice of anami; form-
less, eternal and omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient; it
is this sound Current that manifests all forms of the five-
bodied complex of the Master; all worship is directed toward
this inner sound; the outer sat Guru reconnects the soul to
this sound Current; shabda is the sat Guru, and the outer
Master is its lesser form.

SAT GURU AS THE OUTER MASTER – True Master; true Teacher,
Master soul, spiritual adept; living Master, who brings the
pure, positive light of the Divine into the darkness of the
lower worlds; a saint who is a spiritual wayshower, adept at
initiating all levels of soul’s unfoldment into self, spirit, and
God realization; the ultimate spiritual being; indispensable,
for He enlivens the true Teachings, embodies the true Name,
and serves as the Divine’s true representative in all of crea-
tion; the Beloved, the Friend, the Comforter, the son of God;
lives in the hearts of those who love Him; every true Master
or sat Guru is a saint, but not all saints are sat Gurus.

SAT LOK – Fifth level of Heaven.

SEEKER – one who searches for the essence of spirit, soul,
and the deeper purpose of life; one who is sincerely yearning
for truth.

SELF-DISCIPLINE – Conscious control of the lower self; contin-
uously monitoring the placement of attention and the quality
of one’s attitude; control of the emotions and imagination;
distinctly different than denial or renunciation.

SELF REALIZATION – Esoteric experience of soul recognizing
itself, liberated from the confines of the lower self (mind, ego,
personality).
