SPIRITUAL SCIENCE – The essence of the Divine (shabda)
blended with the precise and measurable application of the
Teachings, allowing for individual experimentation, direct
experience, and the freedom of unbiased assessment.

SPIRITUAL SENSES – soul’s senses of seeing and hearing, in
contrast to the five physical senses and to the mental senses
that can only conceptualize soul, spirit, God, and its emis-
saries.

SPIRITUALITY – Pursuit of absolute truth; essence of truth that
is caught, not taught; life impulses experienced through learn-
ing the secrets of truth and applying them in one’s daily life.

SRI – Title of veneration and spiritual respect or honor; in
sanskrit, king or sire; denotes an exalted height of spiritual
attainment.

SRI GARY OLSEN – living sat Guru; founder and spiritual
leader of MasterPath, a contemporary expression of the light
and sound Teachings; incarnated into the Western culture to
establish the purity of sound in the contemporary Western
setting; – present.

STARS, SUN, AND MOON WORLDS – The three inner regions that
must be crossed and penetrated before rendezvousing with
the radiant Form of the Master; best understood as currents,
or powers, rather than celestial or planetary bodies.

STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS – any state or condition that is di-
vided from the unified whole of consciousness; always tem-
poral and unreal in contrast to unified, real, and eternal.

SUBCONSCIOUS MIND – one of the three minds (conscious,
subconscious, unconscious); expresses itself in unconscious
