SAMUI MODEL

Measures for Transferring Passengers from the

Airport/ Port to Hotels and from Hotels to Samui
Sealed Route

1. Objective

To provide practical guidance for car & van transfers via the airport, SAMUI EXTRA PLUS
hotels, ports and other destinations in Samui Sealed Route which includes safety, hygiene
and other measures of vehicles and qualifications of drivers.
2. Scope

This handout provides details of standard operating procedures for related agencies to help
them manage and provide accurate services for fully vaccinated foreign tourists, following
“SAMUI+ MODEL” rules and regulations. Only cars or vans registered with the local CCSA
can be used for transfer service

3.1 Approved hotels under SAMUI EXTRA PLUS and SHA+ assessment
3.2 Samui Public Health Office, Pha-ngan Public Health Office, and Ko Tao Public Health
Office
3.3 Surat Thani Transport Offices including Ko Samui, Ko Pha-ngan and Ko Tao
3.4 Other related agencies designated by local CCSA
