SAMUI MODEL

Measures for Sealed Beach Tour

The COVID-19 Centre of Koh Samui selected Tham Rang Beach, a part of Muko Ang Thong
National Marine Park, to be one of Samui Sealed Route’s destinations. This 220-
metre-long beach, located on the northeast of Ko Mae Ko, covers an area of 9,600 square
metres and is the perfect place for many beach activities like kayaking, snorkeling or
swimming. The accommodation on the island is not open for overnight stay. Some
facilities provided on the island are toilets, cafeteria, and solar power generators.

1. Objective

To provide practical guidance for tourism service in Tham Rang Beach, Ko Mae Ko, Muko

Ang Thong National Marine Park, which consist of the designated area and facilities
management.

2. Scope

This handout provides details of standard operating procedures for related agencies to
help them manage and provide accurate services for fully vaccinated foreign tourists,
following “SAMUI+ MODEL” rules and regulations.
