            Measures for Boat Tour and Travel



            5. Operational guidelines



               5.1 Before the operation


                   -  Tourists can use public ferry boats at the designated ports only. The other types
                      of boats must receive permission from the local Marine Offices. The vessels must
                      limit number of passengers on board to 60% capacity and follow the health
                      screening and safety standards as well as D-M-H-T-T-A precautions.

                   -  All staff on the vessel must receive and pass the training course approved by
                      Marine Department and MOPH.























                   -  Inform all tourists how to take care of themselves before every departure.
                   -  Hand wash gel with at least 70% alcohol, health hazard waste bag, and face masks
                      are provided in all vessels.

                   -  All vessel staff must have health screening and temperature check before start
                      working. Everyone working on duties has to wear face masks all the time.
                   -  If there are toilets at the port, staff should provide the divided toilets for the tour
                      group and clean them every time after service and before the arrival of next tour
                      group. Cleaning area should include particular frequently touched surfaces such
                      as doorknobs, locks, faucets, with at least 70% alcohol-based disinfectant.
                   -  All food containers should be single-use and environmentally friendly products.







             *     Ko Samui’s designated ports which are allowed to operate transfer service between Ko Tao and Ko Pha-ngan
                 are Lomprayah Pier, Na Phra Lan Pier, Buri Rasa Pier (hotel guests only), and Phu Yai Non Pier.

             **     Ko Pha-ngan’s designated port is Thong Sala.

             ***    Ko Tao’s designated port is Ban Mae Hat (Sala Vibhavadi)
