               The Department of Campus Police provides protection and services to the college community, visitors, and guests. It performs police and
               service related functions 24 hours a day, year-round. Requests for assistance are dealt with in order of urgency, and callers may have to wait
               for responses to non-emergency requests.

               The mail center is a US Postal facility offering standard services such as stamp sales and package mailing. Student mailboxes are located on
               the ground floor of the Campus Center. The mail center counter is open weekdays 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

               Career Development Office (Lazarus Center for Career Development)

               The Career Development Office (CDO) is an invaluable resource for life and work planning, both during and after the college years. Among
               the resources and services available to students and alumnae are the internship and employer library, graduate and professional school library,
               programs and workshops about many careers and areas of study, and individual counseling. The trick is to come to CDO early and often,
               both in person and online.

               The Center for Foreign Languages and Cultures (CFLAC) maintains a state-of-the-art laboratory facility and media classroom, housing a
               network of student workstations with integrated computer, audio, and video components for the study of foreign language, culture, and
               literature. In the Center, students may explore a foreign culture with the aid of interactive videodiscs and tapes, digitized audio and video, and
               CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) programs.

               The Center for the Environment, Ecological Design and Sustainability advances environmental literacy, fosters innovative research, and
               effects sustainable practices in its operation. CEEDS positions faculty, staff and students to lead societies toward a sustainable future by
               supporting curricular development, facilitating collaborative projects and providing resources for environmental research.

               and Life provides a context where students can learn about current research on women’s lives, reflect on their own experiences, and explore
               concepts of fulfillment uniquely suited to them.

               The Central Services is Smith College's campus printing and administrative mail department. The printing department is available for all
               student and staff reproduction needs. The mailing department is a resource for mailing packages via United Parcel Service as well as for
               overnight delivery through multiple carriers.
