Skip the security altogether. Jump directly to the desktop when
you turn on the machine.

The Desktop
Once you’ve gotten past security, you finally wind up at the home base of
Windows: the desktop. See Figure 1-3 for a crash course.
You can, and should, make the desktop look however you want. You can
change its background picture or color scheme; you can make the text
larger; you can pack it with icons you use a lot. Chapter 4 is a crash course
in desktop decoration.
