A wealth of formatting awaits on the Format bar (Figure 10-8).
There are your font and style controls, plus options to create
bulleted or numbered lists, indent paragraphs, add space before or
after paragraphs, or even choose various canned styles (headings,
emphasis, book titles, and so on).
Tip
If, as you prepare your message, you type an @ symbol, Mail promptly pops up a
mini-window into your Contacts; type a couple letters of a person’s name to highlight
it, and press Enter to insert it into your message. Mail adds that address to the
addressee list, if you hadn’t already done so; it assumes that, hey, if you’re blaming
something on (or assigning something to) that guy, he probably deserves to know
about it.
