Some services, like Google and corporate Exchange servers, offer
more than email; they also maintain online calendars and address
books. Under “Sync options,” turn on the data types you want to
display: Email, Contacts, and/or Calendar.
Delete account from this device. Just what it says. “Delete
account from the Microsoft Cloud” deletes this account, and its
mail, from the internet—including all of your machines.
Manage Subscriptions
This link opens a web page where you can view and adjust the settings and
payments for various Microsoft services: OneDrive storage, Microsoft
Office subscriptions, Skype phone service, and so on. (Why is it in the Mail
app?)
Personalization
On this pane, Microsoft has built in a raft of cosmetic controls to suit your
personality and mood. Here you can choose a color scheme for the app, opt
for the usual dark mode (white on black) or Light mode (black on white)
designs, adjust the line spacing of your message list, and choose a photo as
the Mail background. You’ll see that photo in the message-body area when
your window is wide enough to permit the three-column view, and no
message is selected.
Using the Background Browse button, you can choose a photo of your own
to install here. Maybe a photo of a couch and a remote control, to suggest a
reward for getting through your email.
Ordinarily, this wallpaper fills only the space where you usually see the
message body—when no message is open. But if you turn on “Fill entire
window” then, by golly, the photo fills the entire program’s window,
including (in blurry form) the background of the left-side panel where your
accounts appear.
