* Chū attaches to action nouns such as boshū “hiring”, benkyō “study”,
               kaimono “shopping”, etc., and means someone/something is in the middle of the
               action.


                boshū-chū                      募集中                            now hiring; wanted

               * This is usually about jobs, but also used for prospective partners.


                ganbaru                        がんばる                           try hard; persevere
               *Ganbatte kudasai means “Best wishes” or “Good luck!” Ganbarimashō means

               “Let’s hang in there” or “Let’s do our best!” These are very common expressions
               of  encouragement  when  facing  a  challenge.  You  respond  to  them  by  saying
               Ganbarimasu!
