TARSIER 61
Teeth
Tarsiers are the only truly
carnivorous primate. Sharp,
stabbing teeth and broad
crushing molars tell us that
they have a varied diet –
from insects to birds, to
poisonous snakes.
Toes
Long, slender fingers and toes
tipped with fleshy pads help the
tarsiers to grip on to both
branches and prey. On the
second and third toes are
grooming claws.
