The Drive » The drive into
Borrowdale on the B5289 is a
beauty, passing several pretty
villages as it travels through
the valley. You can’t get lost en
route to Honister Pass (10 miles
from Keswick) – there’s only one
road to take; Buttermere lies
on the other side of the pass.
You’ll want to stop for numerous
photos on the way.
