To witness a proper traditional
session in one of the music houses
of Clare or the fine old pubs of
Galway can be a transcendent
experience, especially if it’s
appropriately lubricated with a pint
(or few) of stout. Sure, there’ll be
plenty of tourists about, but this is
authentic, traditional Ireland at its
most evocative.
