                                               Castell’Arquato is one of the
                                               prettiest villages in the
                                               countryside south of the Po.

                                               The best medieval building on
                                               the piazza is the 13th-century

                                               del Municipio. The village’s
                                               hilltop site offers good views,
                                               particularly over the verdant
