LEFT In mid-June eider ducklings hatch  ABOVE When the tide changes,
                                                      and are taken for their first swim.As  the eiders move between the inner
                                                      they are attractive targets for predators,  and outer parts of the  ord on the
                                                      especially gulls and mink, just a few of  current. Shooting from a bridge
                                                      them survive.These youngsters in Húsavík,   and using a long shutter speed
                                                      Iceland, however, seem quite relaxed.   makes the flock’s movement visible.
