Exploring Flevoland
The Noordoostpolder, which is the northernmost part of Rutten
Flevoland, is distinguished by its polder landscape and its
rich farmland, fruit orchards and bulb fields. There are also
many young forests, which are good for walking in. Apart
from the main town of Emmeloord, there are a number of Creil Bant
small new villages, as well as the old fishing village of Urk.
Oostelijk (eastern) and Zuidelijk (southern) Flevoland are
relatively sparsely populated and have a lot of greenery. Espel
