CROWNING THE QUEEN
Madonna owns the stage during the 1985 Virgin Tour.
Her debut tour, following the success of her second
album ‘Like A Virgin’ (1984), saw the controversial
singer oversee every detail of the stage show.
Despite mixed reviews from the press, the
tour grossed an estimated $5 million (over
$11 million in 2017 money), transformed
Madonna into a style icon and crowned
her the Queen of Pop.
