understand more complicated vocabulary.
Tone

to the mood or feeling of a text. For example, a
party invitation should be enthusiastic, an
advice column should be sympathetic, and a
business letter should be formal and serious.
Language
Effective communication should be written
using appropriate language. The choice of
vocabulary and sentence structures will help
to communicate the right message.
Layout
The font size and color, the arrangement of

simplify a message or draw attention to pieces
information. The layout of some forms of
communication, such as newspaper articles
and letters, follows specific conventions.
