       At the core of the Czartoryski Museum          Madonna and Child

       Czartoryski. The Czartoryski Foundation
       sold the entire collection to the Polish
       government in December 2016, and
       the museum will be closed for extensive
       renovation until 2020.


                      Jesuit Saints
        This fine bas-relief by the 17th-century
          Roman sculptor, Alessandro Algardi,
           depicts the Polish Jesuit, Stanisław
             Kostka, being admitted to the
             congregation of Jesuit saints.




                                         Gallery Guide
                                 There is no gallery space on the
                                ground floor. The first-floor display
                                  is dedicated to Polish history of
                                the 14th–18th centuries as well as
                             Western European decorative arts. The
                              picture gallery is on the second floor.



       Porcelain Figures
       These two figures of a Polish nobleman and
       noblewoman were made in Meissen.

                   Nautilus Cup
                   The museum collection is rich in decorative arts
                   and includes this 17th-century drinking vessel
                   made in Danzig (now Gdańsk) from a large shell.
